This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Cookies Policy. Available rights depend on the applicable state law, your circumstances, our activities, and whether the relevant law applies to our business.
1. Introduction
LexoraPath.com (“LexoraPath,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of visitors, lawyers, attorneys, and other individuals who interact with our website.
This US State Privacy Rights Notice explains certain privacy rights that may be available to residents of US states under applicable state privacy laws. These laws do not apply to every business in the same way. The rights available to you depend on your state of residence, the information involved, our activities, and whether the relevant law applies to our business.
This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Cookies Policy.
2. Information We May Process

Depending on your interaction with our website, we may process the following categories of information:
- Professional information: A lawyer’s name, professional title, law firm name, practice areas, professional biography, business email, telephone number, location, and relevant professional credentials.
- Communications: Information included in emails and other correspondence sent to us.
- Business and payment records: Listing plan information, payment confirmations, transaction records, and related communications.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, cookie identifiers, and website usage information, depending on the technologies enabled on our website.
- Advertising and analytics information: Information processed through Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or similar services, if enabled.
We use information for purposes such as responding to emails, reviewing and managing lawyer listings, publishing approved professional profiles, maintaining business records, securing the website, understanding website usage, and displaying advertising where applicable.
For more information, please read our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
3. Your Privacy Rights Under Applicable State Laws
Depending on the state privacy law that applies to you and our business, you may have some or all of the following rights.
A. Right to Know or Access
You may be entitled to ask whether we process your personal information and request access to certain information about its collection, use, or disclosure.
B. Right to Delete
You may be entitled to request deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable legal exceptions and recordkeeping requirements.
For example, certain information may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, or protect security.
C. Right to Correct
You may be entitled to request correction of inaccurate personal information, subject to the requirements and exceptions of applicable law.
D. Right to Data Portability
Where applicable law provides this right, you may be able to request a copy of certain personal information in a portable and usable format.
E. Right to Opt Out of Certain Processing
Depending on applicable law and our activities, you may have the right to opt out of:
- The sale of personal information, as defined by the applicable law.
- Processing of personal information for targeted advertising.
- Certain profiling activities that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Some laws define “sale” and “targeted advertising” more broadly than an ordinary cash transaction or a conventional advertisement. Whether a particular advertising or analytics practice falls within these definitions depends on the applicable law and the way the service is configured.
F. Sensitive Personal Information
Certain state laws provide additional rights or protections concerning sensitive personal information. Where applicable, you may have the right to limit or restrict certain uses of such information.
LexoraPath.com does not ask website visitors to submit sensitive personal information through an online form. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information by email unless it is genuinely necessary and an appropriate secure method has been arranged.
G. Right to Non-Discrimination
Where required by applicable law, we will not unlawfully discriminate against individuals for exercising their privacy rights.
H. Additional Rights
Some state laws provide additional rights or specific procedures. We will assess requests according to the law applicable to the individual and the processing activity.
4. How to Submit a Privacy Request
You may contact us by email to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask a question about your privacy rights.

In your email, please:
- Explain the privacy request you wish to make.
- Identify the email address or other information you previously used to communicate with us, if relevant.
- Provide enough information for us to understand and process your request.
- If you are making a request on behalf of another person, explain your authority to act for that person.
We may request reasonable additional information to verify your identity or authority where permitted or required by applicable law. We will use information submitted for a privacy request to handle that request and for other purposes permitted by applicable law.
We will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to your request. Additional time may be available under certain laws, subject to applicable notice requirements.
5. Opting Out of Sale or Targeted Advertising
Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of the sale of personal information or its processing for targeted advertising, you may contact us using the privacy email listed above.
Certain state laws may also require businesses to recognize qualifying universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), or provide a dedicated website link for privacy choices.
Whether these requirements apply to LexoraPath.com depends on the relevant law and our actual data practices. We will implement the applicable mechanism if required.
6. Lawyer and Attorney Directory Information
Lawyers and attorneys may email us to discuss a paid directory listing. If a listing is accepted after review and payment confirmation, the approved profile and professional contact details may be displayed on the relevant city page.
Information published in a public directory may be viewed, indexed, copied, or shared by website visitors, search engines, and third-party services. We encourage lawyers to submit only information they are authorized to publish.
A lawyer may contact us to request correction or removal of their directory information. We will review the request in light of the listing terms, applicable law, legitimate recordkeeping needs, and any other relevant obligations.
Removal from LexoraPath.com may not remove information that has already been copied, cached, or independently published by third parties.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, security, and advertising, depending on the services enabled.
Third-party providers, including Google, may process technical or usage information under their own terms and privacy policies. Certain advertising practices may be subject to additional disclosure, consent, or opt-out requirements under applicable law.
For further information, please consult our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
Where a particular state law requires an opt-out mechanism or recognition of a qualifying universal opt-out signal, we will take the steps required for the relevant processing activity if that law applies to us.
8. Authorized Agents and Representatives
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent or representative to submit a privacy request on your behalf, we will follow the relevant requirements for handling and verifying that request.
We may request evidence of authorization or other information when permitted or required by applicable law.
9. Children’s Personal Information
LexoraPath.com is intended for individuals seeking legal information and lawyer directory services. It is not designed for children to independently submit personal information.
We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. Additional protections may apply to children’s information under certain state laws.
